ST. ANNE SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY
2025-2026
Students in grades K-8 at St. Anne School wear a school uniform except on designated non-uniform dress days. Clothing should fit the following criteria:
Families may purchase a St. Anne uniform from Tommy Hilfiger or Land’s End Uniform Sections. Lands’ End school code is: #900130154
ALL STUDENTS
Clothing should fit properly and be clean. Shirts should be tucked in at all times. No colored or printed tee shirts may be worn under the uniform shirt or blouse. Jeans may not be substituted for uniform pants in an emergency. Clothing should not be torn, shredded, written or drawn upon. Blouses, shirts or turtlenecks must be worn under sweaters or sweatshirts.
Girls’ Uniforms:
Jumper: Gr. K-4 –Black Watch plaid School Plaid Jumper (no more than 2” above the knee)
Skirt: Gr. 4-8 – Black Watch plaid School Plaid Box Pleat Skirt (no more than 2” above the knee)
Gr. 6-8 – Khaki skirt (no more than 2” above the knee)
Skort: Gr. K-5 –Navy uniform cotton twill skort (no more than 2” above the knee)
Gr. 6-8 – Navy or Khaki uniform cotton twill skort (no more than 2” above the knee)
Pants: Gr. K-8 – Navy twill straight or bootcut pants (ankle length).
Shorts: Gr. K-5 – Navy uniform bermuda walking shorts
Gr. 6-8 – Navy or khaki uniform bermuda walking shorts
Shirt/Blouse: Gr. K-8 – Uniform style white blouse, or shirt with collar or turtleneck.
Gr. 6-8 – Uniform style white or navy shirt with collar or turtleneck
Outerwear Gr. K-8 – Navy or Green sweaters (v-neck, cardigan, crew-neck, vest), crewnecks, or fleeces
Socks/Tights: Gr. K-8 – Solid white, green, navy or black
Leggings Gr. K-8 – Solid white, green, navy or black – (Skin may not be showing between shoes and bottom of leggings. Must be covered by a sock. Leggings need to look like tights)
Note: Uniform polo shirts, blouses or turtlenecks may be purchased directly from the Tommy Hilfiger or Land’s End uniform section or any uniform clothing brand that meets style and color requirements.
Boys’ Uniform:
Pants: Gr. K-8 – Navy pant cotton twill and corduroy
Gr. 6-8 – Uniform regulation navy or khaki pant
Shorts: Gr. K-8 – Navy uniform bermuda walking shorts
Gr. 6-8 – Khaki or Navy bermuda walking shorts
Shirts: Gr. K-8 – Uniform style white shirt with collar or turtleneck.
Gr. 6-8 – Uniform style white or navy shirt with collar or turtleneck
Outerwear Gr. K-8 – Navy or Green sweaters (v-neck, cardigan, crew-neck, vest), crewnecks, or fleeces
Socks: Gr. K-8 – Solid white, green, navy or black

SHOES: For safety reasons, shoes must be closed-toed and have a heeled back. Roller skate shoes, sandals, and slipper-like shoes are not permitted. Tennis shoes must be worn for PE.
SOCKS: Socks are required and must be visible. Footies are permissible but must be visible. The only acceptable colors are white, black, navy and green. St. Anne Celtic sports socks may only be worn on students’ PE days.
JEWELRY: Must be unobtrusive (no large hoop earrings, large chains, etc.) to prevent injury during the school day.
HAIR: Hairstyles or colors that create a disruption to the learning environment are not allowed. Natural color highlights are acceptable. All hair color must be of a natural color (no kool-aid, jello dyes) and no extensions or ornaments (beads, feathers, etc. – visible or hidden) will be allowed. Bangs must be above the eyes and hair must be neat and well groomed.
NON-UNIFORM (FREE) DRESS DAYS
On days designated non-uniform or free dress, clothing should fit properly, be clean and free of inappropriate pictures or wording. Please note the following guidelines:
- Tank tops, spaghetti straps, camisoles, open toe shoes or sandals and roller skate shoes are not permitted.
- Hats and bandanas may not be worn inside the building.
- Jeans and or shorts should not be torn, shredded or drawn upon and the length of shorts must be to mid-thigh.
- Tight or form fitting garments (including yoga pants) must be covered with shorts, shirts or skirts that are mid-thigh in length or longer.
- Pants must be worn on or above the hips.
- SPIRIT DAYS: If a student’s clothing does not fit the theme, the school uniform must be worn. The non-uniform dress guidelines also apply.
- Students with three or more unexcused tardy arrivals to school in one week will forfeit the next all-school free dress or SPIRIT free dress day.
