Passions/Interests

I have a deep appreciation for Catholic education and am thrilled to be a part of the St. Anne staff and community. With over 30 years of experience in advancement, I’m passionate about building relationships that support the mission of Catholic schools.

My husband and I are proud Seattle natives and lifelong beneficiaries of Catholic education, having both attended local Catholic grade schools and high schools. We are grateful to have continued that tradition with our four children who attended Assumption-St. Bridget, O’Dea, Holy Names, and Bishop Blanchet.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and taking advantage of the beautiful Pacific Northwest through outdoor activities.

I have been in Marketing and Communications roles for over 20 years, with a brief stint to get my Masters in Teaching in 2012 where I then taught 3rd grade at St. Anne School. I left teaching to raise my two children and soon thereafter became the Director of Marketing & Communications for O’Dea High School. I am both thrilled and blessed to be returning to the school I love so dearly in the Marketing Director role.

Passions/Interests

I am a Seattle native with a deeply rooted appreciation for Catholic education and teaching to the whole-child. My passion in life is to make a difference in the lives of others and there is no better place to do this than in a school environment, surrounded by students that are eager to learn and passionate about becoming well-rounded leaders in their communities. I love spending quality time with my two children, relaxing and taking in the breathtaking views of the water surrounding us, cheering on our Seattle sports teams, and playing tennis!

I have been teaching Pre Kindergarten at St. Anne School since 2021. I am a S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) certified educator and find my experience with this ties seamlessly into our program. 

Passions/Interests

My goal as an educator is to create intentional experiences that allow early learners a chance to develop autonomy in their exploration; honoring their developmental maturity and abilities through a play responsive classroom. I was born in Connecticut and moved to Seattle in 2019. I love traveling to see family and friends, reading, hiking, cooking, and tending my houseplant jungle.

I began my education career as a language arts homeschool teacher for a private family nearly 20 years ago. I love doing Pilates, traveling, spending time with my husband and daughter and paddle boarding. I try to visit my friends in NYC at least twice a year.

I have been teaching Kindergarten at St. Anne School since 2006.

Passions/Interests

I was born and raised in Seattle, going to Catholic schools from Kindergarten through college. I am a graduate of Bishop Blanchet and Seattle University. I love working at St. Anne; it is an amazing community with incredible people. And I love teaching Kindergarten! At this age students are gaining independence and ready to learn; the growth I see throughout the year is truly amazing.

My husband and I have 2 children who brighten our world everyday. I love reading, going to the beach, working in my garden, and playing tennis.

I have a master’s in creative writing and I love to see students find their unique voice and confidently express themselves. I am also an avid quilter, gardener, and artist. I love helping people. When I play sports my main goal is to help the team in any way I can. When I teach it is to help students become successful, independent thinkers by providing a space where they have the freedom and safety to explore new ideas and dig into big questions so they can participate in the transformation of their world. I also love hanging out with my family, having a good laugh, writing fiction, reading, playing piano and guitar, singing in the car and keeping up with the news of the world.

Passions/Interests

I love to empower and teach the younger generations in order for them to develop their God given potential. It is truly a blessing for me to teach Spanish at our school, and have the opportunity to incorporate our faith in every aspect of our learning. During my days off I enjoy spending time with my wife Eunice and playing sports with my two sons, Nathan and Noah.

I have been at St. Anne School since 2024. Prior to St. Anne’s I was at St. Alphonsus for 10 years teaching PreK-8 PE. Before moving back home to the Seattle area I taught high school PE and Health in Casablanca, Morocco for 6 years and in Spokane, WA for 3 years. I’ve also coached a variety of sports throughout the years at the high school and youth levels.

Passions/Interests

I am passionate about the importance of providing positive opportunities and experiences in PE so that students will want to continue a healthy path throughout their lives. I love teaching PE and am thankful to be at St. Anne! In my free time I love to spend time with family and friends, traveling, pottery, and being active, especially outdoors.

Throughout my time as an educator, I have taught students in every grade from PK to college sophomores and have been delighted and challenged by all of them! I’ve taught Introductory Composition at the University of Washington, English and Speech at Eastside Catholic School High School, Humanities and Art at the Jewish Day School, and Art at St. Madeleine Sophie. From 2008-2025 I taught both Art and Library at St. Anne School. Presently, I teach in the Library on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Passions/Interests

Mending is a favorite pastime of mine; right now I’m lovingly repairing a tattered family quilt. As I sew, I think of the women before me who made or repaired it, as well as of the family members who have huddled under it for warmth.

I have been teaching Art at Our Lady of Fatima since 2017 and was pleased to joined the St. Anne community in 2025. I now have the privilege of teaching Art at both of our Parish Family Schools.

I love sharing my knowledge about Art with the students! I love the joy and excitement it brings to the students when they work on a lesson and are full of confidence and joy when they see their finished work. I also love traveling, yoga, hiking in the neighborhood with my dog Paris, running and painting.

I joined the St. Anne community with a Musical Theater background and a long career in the Broadway Community. Throughout my career I have taught master classes in colleges throughout the US and am the Director of the Drama Arts program here at St. Anne’s. My life experiences have allowed me to help foster creativity, confidence and a deep appreciation for the arts.

I attended Catholic School from Kindergarten through High School and flourished in this safe and loving environment. I am incredibly honored to be a part of your child’s educational journey and my hope is to help empower students to take center stage in their own lives.

Experience

I began working at St. Anne in 2002 as the fourth grade teacher. After one year in fourth grade, I moved to Kindergarten and taught there for four years. In 2007, I began my position as the K-5 Reading Resource teacher. I have been trained in Wired for Reading, Writers Workshop, Developmental Reading Assessment, Spalding, and Fundations.

Passions/Interests

My goal as an educator is to foster a love for learning in every student. I strive to make learning to read a positive experience, and value collaborating with teachers and parents. I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children, cooking, reading, running, and doing most anything related to the outdoors.

I have worked at St. Anne for 20+ years, and feel so lucky to be in this community! When not in my office working with students one-on-one or in small groups, you will find me teaching in classrooms, doing student observations in the classroom or coaching on the playground, and doing triage work with parents and/or staff. At St. Anne, I also develop the Student Learning Plans for middle school students with diverse learning needs.
