From Mary Sherman:
Please, please, review the procedures and make sure anyone who is picking up your child/ren is also aware of our system. These can also found on page 5-6 in the Family Handbook. We have many cars, not enough spaces, and when even one car parks improperly, the entire exiting process is disrupted.
Springtime (usually) always brings sunshine and a chance for parents to chat in front of the school at dismissal. Students are also excited with the warm temperatures and the increase in outside activities. But, with over 200 young people exiting the building each day, safety is paramount. Please honor the work of the safety patrol and only cross at the crosswalks. Do not stand in the street or allow your child to run across Lee St., mid-block. There are often cars that pull out of the angle parking spots when the street is still closed and it presents a dangerous situation.
