Empowering a New Century Faith, Learning & Service

Our Mission

The mission of St. Anne School, in partnership with parents and the parish family, is to provide a quality Catholic education that promotes educational excellence, fosters the living of Gospel values, builds Christian community and inspires compassionate service.

2024-25 School Theme: “Guide me in your truth and teach me.” –Psalm 25

Dear Families,

Yesterday our middle school Celtic Pride elective team led us in prayer and reflection. They shared that as a school we raised $1,150 from the bake sale held on February 14. All of the money is going to the California Wildfire Recovery Fund, which goes to help people and businesses impacted by the wildfires in California. They shared a video of those who will benefit from our donation and they shared a prayer to help us grow our hearts for continued service:

Lord, please help us to open our eyes.  Please let us see those around us that are in need of our compassion. Compel us to listen to them, to hear their needs. Give us the heart to be interested in their troubles and show me the ways I can help. We want to be compassionate. Help us to set a good example for those around us so that we can all work together to make the world a more kind, generous and caring place. We ask this and all our prayers through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you to the team for their leadership. And a huge thank you to 8th grade students and families for providing the cookies, cupcakes and other delicious items that were sold.

Please join us tomorrow at 8:45am for our Ash Wednesday Mass. We begin our 40 day Lenten journey together in prayer. Yesterday we gathered in school Families to make Rosaries that students can use as we pray a daily decade throughout Lent. In addition we will practice almsgiving through the collection of CRS Rice Bowls. We will learn about programs throughout the world that are supported by CRS; have a weekly reflection on the stations of the cross and hear “desert” stories that will deepen our understanding of our Lenten journey. These activities take place in Banchero Hall on Tuesday through Thursday.

The Auction is just around the corner and we only have a few seats left for Saturday night–it’s a race to the finish!  Don’t forget to sign up for Friday’s Auction Family Bingo night (March 14)–fun and festivities for all!  We are excited by this year’s Fund-it that includes new tables and chairs for Banchero Hall; sound, AV and tech enhancements throughout the building; a faculty and staff appreciation bonus fund; and waterwise landscaping that includes a school garden for students.

The end of the trimester is this Thursday and report cards will be coming out on March 18.
