Empowering a New Century Faith, Learning & Service

Our Mission

The mission of St. Anne School, in partnership with parents and the parish family, is to provide a quality Catholic education that promotes educational excellence, fosters the living of Gospel values, builds Christian community and inspires compassionate service.

2024-25 School Theme: “Guide me in your truth and teach me.” –Psalm 25

Dear Families,

At our Prayer Assembly yesterday, our 3rd graders came dressed in the Advent season colors of pink and purple and helped us prepare for the season. They shared with us that Advent is the time when we prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus. The first candle symbolizes hope–the hope we receive as Jesus brings light to our world. The second candle represents peace–the peace that Jesus brings to our hearts. The third, rose-colored candle represents joy–the joy that Jesus came to save us. And the fourth represents love–the love that we receive from God and share with others through mercy.  Throughout Advent, we will continue to meet in Banchero Hall at 8:30am Tuesday through Thursday for an Advent story, reflection and song. All are welcome to join us for this special Advent prayer time.

Service: This Advent the students and staff will be creating blessing bags like we did last year. We will gather much needed toiletries for community members in need.  With buddy classes we will assemble blessing bags to share. Thank you for supporting this important project. Use this link for the Blessing Bag flyer.

Academics:  The Executive Function focus this month is on  Emotional Control and Response Inhibition.  Please feel free to dip into this link to last year’s presentation as well as handouts and materials. These materials can provide you with ways to support your child in emotional control and response inhibition.

Faith: The 4th Grade will be leading us in Mass on Friday at 8:45am. We are grateful for their thoughtful reflection and work serving in this capacity to enrich our faith life.  It is a beautiful opportunity for us to come and pray together as a community.  All are welcome.

Christmas Pageant Time!

  • For those who are new to the St. Anne School Christmas Pageant, our 6th grade class takes the lead as performers and every other class plays a supporting role throughout the program by singing a special Christmas song.
  • Wednesday, December 18 is performance day: 1:15pm and 6:30pm.
  • For the evening performance, students will go to their classrooms and come down for their class performance–the teacher is with them in their classroom while they wait and after they perform.  At the end of the evening, parents can pick up their students in their classroom.  It is a fun evening for all!
  • Doors open at 6:00pm:  Enter the building through the Banchero Hall doors. Students go straight to their classrooms.

Parish News:

  • #iGiveCatholic – St. Anne 2024: Last year we were successful, with this annual parish initiative, in raising over $17,000 towards technology and security!  Those projects have wrapped up bringing us increased digital communications at the church, a new door lock for Banchero Hall and a security camera for the parish.
      • St. Anne’s goals this year as we reach these targets:
        • $3,000 will go to Martha’s Workers – St. Anne’s outreach ministry that prepares and delivers food to those in need
        • $6,000 will go towards Martha’s Workers AND purchase new folding tables and chairs for the Assembly Room and Narthex
        • $10,000 will go towards goals 1 and 2 AND to purchase a new screen projector and rolling podium for Banchero Hall (special request from Principal Austin)
        • $25,000+ will go towards goals 1, 2, and 3 AND additional improvements to the Parish Assembly Room to make it more inviting and comfortable
