2024-25 School Theme: “Guide me in your truth and teach me.” –Psalm 25
Dear Families,
Our Fourth Graders did a beautiful job leading us in our Monday morning Prayer Assembly. Here is some of what they said:
We are grateful to the Duwamish and Coast Salish people for their stewardship of this land and the waters around us. We also thank them for the many ways they continue to contribute to our community. Let us all take a moment to appreciate and respect the land we are on today and remember to treat it with care. Fourth grade reflected on five important words to remember this Thanksgiving: Gratitude, Respect, Honesty, Connection and Generosity. Gratitude means being thankful for what we have. Respect is about treating others, the land and ourselves kindly and thoughtfully. Honesty means telling the truth and understanding history as it really happened. Connection means building relationships with people and the world around us. Generosity means giving and sharing with others.
They ended with this prayer: Let this Thanksgiving be a time to reflect, learn, and grow in our faith and love for all God’s creation.
On behalf of the faculty and staff at St. Anne School, we wish you and your family a very blessed Thanksgiving.
