2024-25 School Theme: “Guide me in your truth and teach me.” –Psalm 25
Dear Families,
The Fifth graders led our Prayer Assembly yesterday! They reminded us of the ways that prayer can be practiced in many ways including: traditional, meditation, intentions, and song. They put our School Theme: “Guide me in your truth and teach me,” Psalm 25, to the instrumental music of, “Can’t stop the feeling” and then they sang the song for all of us! Thank you for lifting our spirits up with your singing. They also made a template for bookmarks with our school theme that all students were able to color at the Families activity that followed the prayer assembly.
Congratulations Speech Team! Our 30 member speech team competed at the Archbishop Murphy High School tournament this last weekend and had great success! Congratulations to all! And a special congratulations to Kate H. (8th) and Aidan O. (6th) for winning medals! Thanks to all the parent volunteers and faculty advisor, Mr. Folger, for their ongoing coaching and support of the team!
Beautiful Grounds! There are new plants in the school gardens! We are excited to be finishing up this part of the FundIt initiative from last year. As students take time to adjust to plantings in the front garden boxes and beds, please take time to coach them to stay out of the beds and gardens!
Gratitude! Thank you to all our students and families for their outpouring of support for Martha’s Workers! The sandwich fixings drive was a huge success. Everyone made a huge difference with this service. And thank you to Martha’s Workers for being an ongoing model of Christian service.
Children’s Christmas Choir starts tomorrow!: The Christmas Children’s Choir has their first rehearsal tomorrow after school. Mo Mershan will collect the students at the bottom of the front steps at 2pm and take them over to rehearsal at the church. She will have a sign! There is space for late comers so if they haven’t signed up and are interested, you can meet her at 2pm and get them signed up! Here is the form with details: 015 – Christmas Children’s Choir | Archdiocese of Seattle!
Pacific Science Center at St. Anne! Volunteers Needed! Next Tuesday, the 26th, the Pacific Science Center will be at St. Anne all day.
