Dear Families:
The sun is shining and thoughts of summer begin to creep into our minds. So much is happening between now and then!
First up – “A Night in Havana at the St. Anna Cabana” – there are just a handful of tables available for our biggest and best fundraiser of the year. More than ever, your support is critical this year to help us meet our 2021-22 operating budget. Tuition increases for next year were kept to a minimum (3%) and we weren’t able to raise additional funds through our annual Move-a-thon. We need the auction proceeds to meet budget projections without having to cut programing. We have proxy bidders available if you are unable to attend in-person and all can participate in the online silent auction and Fund It! For those joining us in-person, be assured that all safety protocols have been approved through our permits and we are honoring all Covid regulations for events. Thank you for your continued support!
I want to update you on our plans for the remainder of the school year. We are trying to end the year as close to normal as possible and continue with some of our much-loved traditions. Here’s what is on the calendar and some of the adjustments that we are currently planning. As we have all learned over this past year, situations change on a dime and we need to be ready to pivot at all times. We are hoping and praying that the Covid numbers decrease which will allow us more flexibility with our upcoming events. Please know that health and safety will always be our number one priority and we will follow all recommended protocols for any and all events!
Here’s what we have planned (as of today):
April 27th – Mid-terms go home
May 3rd – 7th – Teacher Appreciation Week (no parent hosted luncheon this year)
May 8th – “A Night in Havana at the St. Anna Cabana” in-person auction in a well ventilated and approved tent on the playground.

It is encouraging to think that we can have an end of the year closer to usual, compared to what we we experienced last year. I am so proud of our students, staff and families who have endured so many challenges but have kept moving onward and making the best of the difficult situations. We are blessed at St. Anne with a positive, resilient and forward moving community! Please know how much we appreciate all of you.
Have a great week with more sunshine!
