A few requests have come to teachers asking that a student be allowed to do remote learning on a particular day due to illness or a scheduled appointment. Just to clarify, if a student is doing in-person learning on a regular basis, teachers cannot pivot to moving the student to remote learning for the day. With all classes back in the building, families need to choose whether their student/s will be a remote learner or an in-person learner. If a family wishes to change their status from remote to in-person, we will need two-days notice.
The exception to this policy is that if WE require a student to quarantine (due to travel or covid exposure etc.) we will make arrangements to move the student to remote learning for the required time.
