Dear Families:
We are into October and settling nicely into the rhythm of the school year. Once that first month is behind us, the routines are in place and the business of teaching and learning can take center stage. The students (and teachers) are happily going about their days and there is a positive feeling permeating the building. It’s a great place to be spending our days.
October is always a busy month and this year it is proving to be no different. Last week we had the Blessing of the Animals and this week we have our annual Move-a-thon. At the Prayer Assembly every Monday, the students have been hearing about healthy living and the importance of good hygiene, exercise and sleep. This Thursday, October 10th at 1:30pm, we kick-off our Move-a-thon activities. We will begin in Banchero Hall with announcements and Miss Grelle’s warm-up routines before we head out to “move” for one hour. Please join us. Contact Monica Flora if you can volunteer. We can always use extra hands and extra voices to cheer on the “movers”. Thank you to Scott and Amy Graff, this year’s chairs for leading the charge to raise funds for our school.
Have a great week!
