Welcome back to another great school year at St. Anne’s!
Our annual TAILGATE PARTY is a great way to start the school year off by meeting families new to our community, and reconnecting with familiar faces we missed this summer.
Decorate your cars and rock your St. Anne Celtic gear/school colors and let’s show how proud we are of our AMAZING school family! Students can show their school spirit by decorating their bikes, scooters, boards and helmets too! Burgers and dogs generously provided by the school. BYOB and a side dish to share.
Here’s the details:
Grab your family, chairs, a side dish to share (by last name – see below), party games like corn-hole, ladder ball, foot ball, Frisbee, etc., a cooler filled with your favorite brew, and go all out to decorate your car and family in St. Anne gear/colors.
Arrive at the school parking lot at 5pm and claim your tailgating spot! Coordinate with friends and park near each other or ask a new St. Anne family to join the fun! Park around the periphery of the lot. We will close the gates as soon as the lot is full and for safety reasons, we will keep them closed until 8pm!!! If you need to leave early, consider utilizing street parking and poaching the tailgate of a friendly family;-)
Bring your side dish to the main table and set yourself up with chairs, coolers and tailgating accoutrements! The middle of the parking lot will be open for games, bike riding and frolicking!
Grab a plate, hot dog or hamburger, load up on all the accompaniments at the main table and enjoy!
Side dishes for 10-15 people to share go by first letter of your last name:
A-E: Non-alcoholic drinks (juice boxes, La Croix)
F-J: Chips/Veggies
K-O: Side dishes (Beans, Chili, etc.)
P-T: Salads (Green, Potato, Macaroni)
U-Z: Dessert (Cookies, Brownies, Cake pops)
REMINDER: This is a family event, so please remember to keep a careful eye on your kids. ALL tailgaters MUST have a parent present or prearranged adult supervision.
Also, don’t forget to pack out all gear, service items and garbage.
We can’t wait to see you Friday and kick-off another excellent school year!
Cheers!!
