Congratulations to all the performers in this year’s lower grade drama production. This year, they performed a musical review featuring songs from The Lion King, Aladdin, and the Jungle Book. This was the first year that the kids learnt how to create a musical in partnership with their teachers!
A huge thank you to Directors, Hattie Claire Andres and Daniella Gallardo, Teaching Artists with the Seattle Theatre Group. Both have worked at 5th Ave, Seattle Rep, Seattle Children’s Theater, and many other theaters in Seattle.
Not only did Hattie and Dani teach the kids how to perform on stage but they also inspired the kids to live by their three golden rules: 1. Give respect to get respect. 2. Everybody Plays. 3. Have SERIOUS fun.
Beaven Walters and Sam Stack started the St Anne After school drama program 5 years ago and it has become an integral part of St Anne. Hugely popular, this year the program filled the fastest yet – it was oversubscribed in 1 hour of registration opening! Thank you Beaven and Sam for bringing this great experience to our kids.
